This project is especially meaningful to me as it is my first ever game, created from scratch without any previous experience with Unity or coding.
Starting with an empty project—without using boilerplate code—I built a 2D arena shooter featuring classic arena mechanics like launching pads, one-way gates and customisable game balance.
Players can shoot, reload, jump, and activate a shield to block incoming bullets, adding a strategic layer to the combat. This project was a huge learning experience and set the foundation for my journey into game development.
